Lyrical Jazz is a blend of ballet and jazz styles that creates a self expression performed to contemporary music.

Lyrical jazz is a slower style that focuses on technique and often reflects the lyrics of the song being danced to. In lyrical dance the soft and flowing movements are often used to demonstrate the portrayal of a character.
